Casio G-Shock DW-6900BGODZ-9JF “Godzilla”

dw6900-godzilla

Here’s a slick DW6900 that I spotted on Riley’s MyG-Shock that will supposedly be available only in Japan at this time. The black DW-6900BGODZ-9JF has “GODZILLA” on the face and some funky print on the resin band. Read more »

AMEZING x Casio G-Shock DW-6900, another weak attempt

invincible-casio-g-shock-dw-6900-01

Like Subcrew, AMEZING has also taken one of the G-Shock DW6900s from the Crazy Colors series, and slapped their special insignias on the band.  And of course, this is also limited.  Like Subcrew, AMEZING will be charging the equivalent of $165 USD (ouch!), and sold in the LUX stores (I think they’re affiliated with Subcrew as well).  More redundant pics from HB on the jump.

Casio G-Shock “Men in Rusty Black” “Military Inspired” Pack

casio-gshock-men-rusty-black

Casio will be releasing this new pack consisting of five watches: the Mudman, Gulfman, Frogman, DW5600 and DW6900 (the latter two shown below).  The “Men in Rusty Black” Pack is the name in the Japanese market.  For us in the States, it is titled the “Military Inspired” Series. Read more »

DQM x Casio G-Shock DW6900

The DQM x Casio watch will be dropping soon, and here’s a better picture of the watch with the light turned on!  I’m really digging the EL backlighting, and “New York City”.  Notice the pink backglow of the “DQM’, which reminds me of a certain Air Max 90 that I once had before I sold them. Price hasn’t been finalized yet, but since DQM is one of those “brands”, expect hypebeasts to go nuts over it.

Subcrew Casio G-Shock DW6900 watches

subcrew-casio-gshock-watch-1

Subcrew will be releasing their unoriginal G-Shock 6900s this coming Wednesday at their UNITY retail stores in Guangzhou, Taipei, Chang Sha, and Shanghai.  There will also be another version yet to be revealed, and will be available exclusively on their online store.  Like we said, these watches are readily available sans special insignia designs on eBay and at your local G-Shock stockist for retail price or less. Casio G-Shock: DQM DW6900DQM-7JR & LRG DW6900LRG-2AJR

Spotted on Mygshock.com, among the new releases coming from Casio for the upcoming spring season, more collaborated watches are on their way as well. This will be the second collaboration from DQM (Dave’s Quality Meat), and the third respectively for LRG (Lifted Research Group), with this being their second DW6900 to be produced.

Subcrew x G-Shock…WEAK.

subcrew-casio-gshock-watch

If you read our posts here at EO, we’ve been upbeat about G-Shocks as of late.  However, don’t take this one as hate against these watches, but rather at a weak attempt to sell more “limited watches”: Subcrew, a HK-based brand (I’m not familiar with them), is releasing a “special” line of Casio G-Shocks.

By looking at this initial picture, all they have done is to place their logos and designs on Casio’s Crazy Colors line and other regular G-Shocks that you can buy off eBay or Amazon.  When something like this is released as a “collaboration”, expect them to charge an absurd markup amount over the “regular” product.  They could have chose to do something more original, but many hypebeasts out there will probably care less.  I’ve seen many of them think that G-Shocks were only sold by exclusive boutiques in trendy locations, costing as much as their shoes…many of them do not realize that their local Target and Walmart also carry these fine watches as well.
