The last of today’s Jordan posts, we bring the shoe that started it all, the Air Jordan 1. Since there’s three variations coming out, we’ll let the shoes do all the talking!

Air Jordan I High Premier “Infrared”
New drop for mid-next month courtesy of Jordan Brand as they put a new spin on the shoe that started it all, the Air Jordan I. The true high-cut sneaker features an OG-like pairing of black and red, albeit the red is kicked up a few notches as a bright Infrared. A pre-order is currently available at Lowtex with an official release for this limited pair slated for Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2009 at select Jordan dealers.

Air Jordan I High Premier “Pewter”
Following-up closely on the heels of the recently featured Air Jordan I High Premier Infrared comes another limited release for February. The nice pewter finish meshes well with a high-cut version of the Air Jordan I. A bit of color can be seen via the Max Orange. Available starting January 31st, 2009 at select Air Jordan dealers including Lowtex.

Air Jordan I High Strap “Midnight Marauders”
With one of their better conceptual designs of the year, the Jordan camp gets set to launch their Tribe Called Quest tribute Jordan 1’s. The kicks take obvious cues from Tribe’s Midnight Marauders album which sprang the classic single “Award Tour”, not to mention elevated the group’s intellectual rhymes into another stratosphere with a blend of Jazz infused Hip-Hop. Following that same timeless element, the sneakers feature a mostly black palette with beautifully placed embroidered mesh, green/red accenting and a sleek patent leather swoosh. Select retailers including Undefeated will see a release this Saturday, January 31st, at all of their US chapter stores.
