Toyobaru Coupe=8th Generation Celica?

The on-again, off-again, Toyota/Subaru joint venture coupe could be the next Celica…again, it is just here-say until we see an actual car or hear official word from the big T. If this were to be true, this means that the Celica would return to its roots as rear-wheel drive car.  Some of you know that the first Supra was a derivation of the Celica, before becoming Toyota’s flagship sports car before Japanese sport coupes got way too expensive. And because Toyota’s project of bringing super cars are likely canned with cost cutting measures today, this is probably the best we can get for the time beingn. Like we say, we’ll follow the drama as it unfolds…
